Meet the Team
Syd Petro is from Johnstown PA and currently still resides in town. Syd graduated from Bishop McCort Catholic High School, Class of 2014, and received a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Account from Saint Francis University in 2018. Syd currently works full time at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in the Admissions Office.
Music has been a part of Syd’s life ever since she was little. She always loved to sing and be involved with music in anyway she could. She starting taking piano lessons at the age of 5, and voice lessons at the age of 12. Getting involved with singing at church was the root of how Syd found the love to sing. She then started getting involved with musicals in junior year and continued in high school.

Syd sang her first wedding at the age of 13 and it soared ever since! She started receiving referrals from all over town. One to two weddings a year turned into 10-12 weddings a year! Syd knew right then that this was going to turn into an amazing side business for herself and her marvelous musician team.
Syd states “My voice is the greatest gift I ever received. I thank God every day that he has blessed me with a talent that I can share with so many and bring joy to people with my singing. I never take my talent for granted, I am forever grateful and humble. My voice has taken me to heights that I never thought. Music is and always will be a huge part of life. It brings me joy, laughter, and peace. I cannot thank my family and friends who have always been there supporting me since day one. Your love and support is what keeps me going and for that, I have forever thankful”.

Lisa Pierce is from Johnstown PA and is a loving wife to her husband Jay, who was her high school sweetheart, and the best mom to her awesome kiddos, Zach, Maddie and Cam! Lisa also has three crazy pets - Rocky the Boxer and two cats, Charlie and Mac.

Lisa graduated from University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown with a BA in Business (Marketing and Management) in 2011 and graduated from Saint Francis University with her MBA in 2013. Lisa has been playing since 1998. Since 1998 when she was able to choose an instrument to study in school. She joined the Johnstown Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2003 and the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra in 2007.
Lisa had a family friend that played the violin and she was always mesmerized with everything about the instrument - especially the sound and variety of music that can be played on it. Lisa has always have had a love for music. She states, “ Music has the ability to change your mood and provide comfort regardless of what you are experiencing. There is a genre of music for every emotion!
When my daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor shortly after her 2nd birthday, music was an instrumental part of her healing and ours. From rejoicing through our favorite hymns to playing her favorite dance music, it helps us work through our emotions and celebrate even the smallest victories! Shortly after she was moved from the children's hospital to an in-patient rehab facility, I was able to participate in the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra's performance of Dvorak's New World Symphony and it resonates with the emotions I experienced shortly after her diagnosis and the hope and joy we experience watching her grow and continue to thrive as she heals. Music is one of my greatest passions and such a special gift that I am grateful to be able to share”!
